The Connection of Collective Art

The Inner Panda Collective was officially established in March of 2026, even though the idea came to me two years before that.

But to explain the Collective, I think it’s important to begin somewhere else.

Let me start by clarifying one thing: Trauma is Trauma.

It doesn't matter whether you've experienced complex trauma, abuse (verbal, physical, sexual, psychological, etc.), neglect, an accident or an incident. Trauma is trauma. No story is too small. No story is too much.

Because at the end of the day, you were hurt, and I can say with 100% certainty, you are not alone in your experience.

It is my humble opinion, regardless of what trauma you’ve experienced, connection is one of the most important aspects of the healing journey.

Prior to 2021, had we spoken, I would have told you I didn’t have a creative bone in my body. I couldn’t draw a stick figure.

Then I went to therapy.

I stepped onto this wild, whirlwind journey of healing, and suddenly, I was drawing and painting realism. I didn’t understand it, nor could I explain it. All I knew was that something inside my mind had cracked open, allowing imagination to flow out right along with that pesky inner child.

Trauma can rob you of many things. Unfortunately, even creativity is at risk.

It’s not something I had ever considered before, and it’s not something I hear talked about all that often.

So what does any of this have to do with … well … any of it?

Our creativity is something that the world, our minds and our trauma can so easily shut down.

Aren’t you curious, even if just a little, to know what would happen if we decided to let it shine?

The Inner Panda Collective is a home for the many creative paths, ideas and projects that come to life through Inner Panda.

Each project has its own personality, its own inspiration, and its own story. No two creative paths are alike!

Sometimes creativity is found in craftmanship, sometimes in symbolism, sometimes in stories and sometimes in the unexpected ideas that refuse to stay ideas.

Some are inspired by mythology, nature, or the little curiosities that make the world interesting. Others hold the weight of our ancestors, drawing on craftsmanship that the modern world is capable of reproducing far more efficiently- yet there is something incredibly beautiful about doing it the old way, perhaps with even a little bit of a modern twist.

They aren’t necessarily connected by what they create, but by the freedom to explore, experiment and bring something meaningful into the world.

This is a space for the curious, the imaginative and the creatively restless.

Rather than limiting creativity to one direction, The Inner Panda Collective celebrates the beauty of having many.

Because perhaps healing isn’t always about finding our way back to who we were before. Perhaps it’s also about discovering all the things we never knew we could become.

Different paths. Different passions. One creative home.

Welcome to The Collective.
